Entryway Project

The Finished Project

The Finished Project

Scott and I have a small entryway in our home, but had a huge need for a place for our shoes, jackets, bags, etc. Like most, when we come home we just pile things wherever is convenient (the couch, kitchen counter, you name it). We looked at a lot of options for the entryway but nothing seemed to fit our space and our needs. The solution, of course, was another McCoy project! We already had wood left over from the pallet wall project in our bedroom so we only needed to purchase hooks, brackets and a mirror (total was around $50). We’re still figuring out the decor for the shelf, but, for the most part… it’s done and we love it!

    • You could nail the pallet boards to a piece of plywood to reduce the amount of nail holes but to be sturdy and actually use the hooks you will need to secure it to the wall.

    • Hi Kirsten. Thanks so much! The brackets were from Home Depot (I spray painted them matte black) and the hooks were from Anthropologie.
